The structure of Lingus.

Lingus can be approached from three different directions,

• to learn languages as as student,
• to produce training material as an author/teacher
• to follow-up and evaluate student performance

Lingus har one user interface for each of these goals. In the picture below, the students tools are in red, the author's in green and the examiner's/mentor's in blue. As a normal teacher you might need work both with the authoring tools and with the evaluation tools.

Comments to the picture.

The author/teacher uses the authoring tools to produce training material. The student works with the exercises. His performance and progress is continuously monitored for his own interest and stimulation. If required, the teacher can get reports and summaries to follow the students.
