Lingus - a system for language learning

Lingus is a system for computer-aided language learning/teaching applicable to individual studies, in distance learning and at school. It could be used in any language, at any level and for all types of users. The strength of the systems in providing the student with efficient and stimulating tools to train and learn many aspects of the language, i.e. pronunciation, speech perception, reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary etc.

The student's learning is the central part of Lingus. Auxiliary system help to develop and distribute training, give guidance, and to evaluate and document performance and progress.

The teacher can via Lingus actively support and stimulate the student. Lingus can take over administrative tasks such as distribution av training material and tests and follow-up and documentaion of the students' performance. This will give him opportunity to concentrate on the pedagogical part of his work

Using ready-made tutorials from publishers or sharing exercises with colleagues is a simple and labour-saving strategy, but it is also possible to develop complete tutorials based on own texts, images, sounds and other components.
